Improvements

Version 10.3

  • Manual, course, help texts and installation also in English
  • A shaft or a treadle can be moved directly to another position via the right mouse menu, taking the tie-up with it
  • With liftplan, the treadles/columns automatically move with the shafts when they are added or removed
  • A fourth way to get 3D effect in the design view: shadow for very dark colors
  • The help texts can be called up via the Help button in all 23 sub-screens
  • In File, Find draft, the search is more than 30 times faster
  • The WIF files are now also suitable for Louet Dobby 2.0
  • WIF files as well as WinWeef files have the entire color palette stored and read.
  • In the Color menu, unused colors can be removed from the color palette of a WIF file with the option 'Only used colors in palette'.
  • When reading in a WIF fabric, the white threads can immediately get a different color
  • The name of the creator of a draft is always stored in the draft. If someone else uses that draft, the name of the original creator is displayed and appears on the printout
  • All threads through a particular shaft or treadle can be given the brush color at once
  • Copying the threading to the treadling can be done in one go in a mirrored way (choice between 'normal' and mirrored)
  • When copying threading to treadling, the first warp thread now goes to the top weft by default
  • In Settings, Preferences the four default colors go from 48 to 16.7 million colors
  • In Settings, More you can set more space between the tie-up, threading, treadling and drawdown under Space between
  • If you switch from liftplan to tie-up in an empty design, the number of treadles remains unchanged and no longer becomes 2
  • The next thread to be woven at Louët control is stored with the draft so that the next time you continue where you left off with that draft. At least if you save the modified draft!
  • With the Louët control, the draft runs along the main screen
  • With the Louët control you can receive a message when changing the color of the weft thread
  • The 12 reports in Designing liftplan have been given more space and are stored with the draft
  • The ‘Calculate draft’ is stored with the draft
  • In Calculate draft, after entering the 'Number of warp ends or 'Number of picks' or 'Length of warp' or 'Length of weft' it is possible to calculate back to 'Length' and 'Width
  • The form ‘Determine number of dobby bars’ now fits well
  • In the form ‘Determine number of dobby bars you can also print the tab 'Treadling’
  • A block in the analysis can be copied to the treadling
  • The error that occurs when 'Threading to treadling' has fewer threads has been fixed
  • With Block substitution, the whole block gets the color of the original thread
  • When converting from liftplan to tie-up, each weft can be chosen to have its own treadle
  • When removing shafts sometimes an error occurred
  • In 'Copy from' it can be indicated to which position a whole treadling or threading has to go
  • In 'Copy from' two treadlings can also be intertwined by selecting 'transparent’
  • In 'Techniques, Threading tie shafts' the first weft thread color is the same as the repeat thread
  • In Techniques, Namedraft is a new way to generate a threading
  • In Analysis, ‘BMP to treadling’ is a new way to generate a treadling
  • In Design liftplan, a BMP can also be read in as a treadling
  • A block in the tie-up is also emptied by pressing the Delete key
  • In Stretch, Threading tie shafts and Namedraft, threads are added to the threading or treadling if necessary
  • Turn weaving shows the back side mirrored with respect to the front side

Version 10.2

  • The Error at 'copy from' is removed.

Version 10.1

  • Printing from analysis is improved
  • Double click on a WinWeef file in an e-mail attachement and in Windows Explorer will start WinWeef correctly.
